First off, the purpose of these posts is to introduce one of your books/series. In order to decide if your story fits the aesthetic of my website here is a little bit about what I write:

My debut novel, Bondwitch, is a YA Paranormal Fiction with a romantic subplot. When I review books on my blog, I first and foremost highlight fantasy and paranormal stories. I also like historical fiction and romance. 

I don’t normally read crime, mystery or science fiction, but if your story can fit into one of my three collections, I’ll accept your post. I will not accept erotica (the occasional spicy/hot scene is fine).   

There are three possible collections to put your post in:

• Holidays
• New Release
• An Oldie but a Goodie

Holidays

Posts that fit into the Holidays collection are centered around any holidays happening the month you apply for. The holiday subcategories are:

• Holiday Highlight – Your story highlights that holiday as either a scene, chapter, or a major theme. 
• Made up holiday – Your story has a made up holiday that may or may not have been influenced by a real holiday
• Character birthday – It’s your character’s birthday month

*Note: this is not exclusive to holidays in the U.S. Any holiday in the world may be highlighted.

New Release

This one is pretty self-explanatory. You have a new book coming out and you want to talk about it! OR your book released within the past 6 months.

An Oldie but a Goodie

If you are like me, you often come across “new” books years after they have been published. This collection is to introduce new readers to your “older” books. You can fit your older books into the following subcategories:

• Book Anniversary – you are celebrating your book anniversary by highlighting it (1 year or older)
• Any of the Holiday subcategories
• Preparing for a release of the next book in your series
